jezebel and {BUTTERFLIES}

Jezebel was a beautiful and loyal furry friend that is no longer here with us.  Her mom can imagine her running in green apple fields chasing butterflies...I see it!

This swap was part of an ABC series that I am in. (I forgot to photograph my A, Alice in Wonderland) So once I read about Jezebel, I knew that this ATC needed to be butterflies, greens and made with LOVE.

Here are a couple of goodies that I threw in.  Is it me or are raffle tickets the best?  Who knows what childhood memory I have forgotten involving these lovely little beauties.  Oh yeah don't forget the sparkling Jack of Clubs and the feather I made on my Silhouette Cameo.

happy mail {HAPPINESS ENVELOPE}

ha-ha-happy mail is here again!

Today my swap was to fill an envelope with several items, I chose:

* a bookmark
* an atc
* 5 envelopes
* a quote
* stickers
* fabric swatch and
* washi tape

I made these envelopes using my Silhouette Cameo.  I made various sizes and I think they're adorable.  It was hard to send them off!

Before I was assigned a project in this swap, I began to make this ATC of Marie Antoinette.  In my head, I saw pink and turquoise, and the queen herself.  Her hair dolloped on her head like a mound of merengue.   You know that I adore the misunderstood queen and here.

Once I was assigned a partner, I realized that she loved those two colors and she dreamed of one day opening a bakery.  How funny was that?  Marie!  What's not to love?

...eat cake AND merengue!

the penguin of {PARIS}

happy happy mail.

This is a whimsical little guy that I came up with for an Ocean Themed Swap.  My partner dreams of one day making a trip to PARIS and this was our wish for her as well.

Frederic here insisted that he hold a tiny Eiffel tower in his left hand and a heart with the word BELIEVE in the other.  He wore his favorite paper crown for the big day.
