Pretty in P I N K

Here is a super cute little felt flower that you can whip up in no time!

It is quite simple.  Made up of just a little felt, three little circles to be exact.  So here we go...

Here are the materials you will need:

felt
embroidery floss
scissors
That's it!

For the first step, take something that is circular and small.  In my case, I used a spool of thread.

Lay it on your felt and using a pencil, lightly outline the edge.  (my markings are a bit darker, so that you could see) ;)

Remove the spool, or whatever you used and grab your scissors and cut along your penciled line.

Now take that circle that you have cut out and lay it on the felt.  Estimating, draw a line about 1/4 from the edge, all the way around.  Now cut it out.

Do that one more time, so that you have 3 circles escalating in size.  Lay them on top of each other in ascending order.

Now go and grab your embroidery floss and needle.  Thread it and tie a knot at the end.

Take your needle and thread and coming from the bottom up, pierce your flower (thru all layers).

Make an X.

Then another.

Lastly, clip the notches all the way around.  First clipping straight up and down, then again a slight cut at an angle, making a tiny triangle.  Do all 3 layers..

Add to a headband for a super cute look ;)

Hugs!
